IIZUKA is delighted to have been awarded Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation after independent vulnerability testing of its networks.

Cyber Essentials is a Government backed and business supported scheme to help business protect itself against cyber threats. This has been in the news a lot lately, with the ransomware attacks on the NHS for example.

Cyber Essentials Plus considers performance against five key controls:

  • Boundary firewalls and internet gateways

  • Secure configuration

  • Access control

  • Malware protection

  • Patch management

Accreditation signifies that an organisation understands the risks from cyber attacks and has taken the necessary precautions to protect its networks, machines and systems from hackers.

Greg Hayes, Managing Director, said:

‘As a business which provides secure, cloud-based software, it’s vital that we demonstrate that we comply with best practice, so that our customers can be assured of the quality of our products and service. That’s why we’re delighted to have gained this accreditation at the first attempt. We won’t be standing still though, cyber security is a fast-evolving area and we always ensure we understand and respond to developments within it.’
