Welcome to Jonathon - our newest apprentice


IIZUKA continues to grow its business - and our team’s growing with it. Jonathon joined us earlier this year as an apprentice support desk agent, providing a front line support service to our customers as part of our Client Services team.

Jonathon, 28, had previously worked in tech support elsewhere, but decided to pursue an apprenticeship in order to broaden his experience and gain some further qualifications while working. He’s studying for a Level 3 Information Communications Technician - Azure Cloud Support Specialist.

Now that he’s settled in and got to grips with Case Manager, Jonathon said:

‘Although I’ve only been here a short time, the support from the guys at the company has made life so easy and it already feels as if I’ve been working here for years. I’m truly enjoying the opportunity to combine my interest in IT with my role, contributing to the support desk and new projects. I’m learning every day and this is firing my enthusiasm even more. I’m excited to keep pushing boundaries and I feel the role, in tandem with my apprenticeship, is the perfect opportunity to learn whilst working.’

Within our team, we’ve employed a number of apprentices, supporting them through their studies and developing their skills in the workplace. Some have gone on to bigger and better things outside of our team, while others have developed their careers into more senior roles internally.
